Matthew Yellowtail

In his role as program coordinator, Matthew manages the overall operations of the NACC’s Indigenous Communities Fellowship (ICF), providing prospective applicants with 1-on-1 support through the application process and fellowship experience. ICF is a Cardinal Quarter opportunity co-sponsored by the Native American Cultural Center and the Haas Center for Public Service that empowers students to partner with a diverse array of community-based nonprofit, government, and tribal organizations throughout Indian Country and beyond. Matthew also oversees the ICF Fellow selection process and arranges programming throughout the year focused on professional development for students.  

Matthew was born and raised on the Apsáalooke (Crow) Nation in southeastern Montana. He earned a B.A.H in Native American Studies from Stanford University in 2018. Matthew previously served as Resident Fellow of Stanford’s Native American Theme House, Muwekma-Tah-Ruk.
